Marrowbone & cleaver, the pub, that Guy from kirmington bought with his sister Sally 🙂

Sally and Guy grew up in this village and wanted to make this pub a home from home for locals and guests that join them. Roaring open fires, wooden beams, 166 squadron memorial stain glass, Guys “Wall of Death” and cheery smile from everyone that works there. You really do need to find an excuse not to join them.

Batemans and Guy have brewed their unique Skull Spanners Beer, but if that’s not your bag, then try a chilled bottle of Prosecco on ice or relax with a good wine and some good honest homemade food. When it comes to dishing up, you certainly get your money’s worth, they’re certainly “not all plate and no food”, there’s no scrimping on portions.

Set on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds, or as Guy says “Centre of the Universe”, its ideal for families and day-trippers popping in by car, walkers, cyclists and I’m sure there will be a few motorbikes too. There’s always a lively atmosphere both inside and out in the beer garden and everyone is welcome.
