My name is Lee Germaine, I started riding back in the ’70’s getting my first bike at 16 which was an AP50 (peddles included). After moving abroad my second bike was a CB250T which I virtually lived on for 2 years clocking up an impressive 75,000 miles. Then came the bigger stuff Z750FX followed by a CB750. On returning to the UK a few years passed before I rekindled my interest in bikes. I decided to turn my hobby into a job, like most other instructors. Passion for profit!

I have over two decades of teaching experience, qualifications include DVSA approved CBT and DAS instructor, RoSPA Diploma, Gold, Tutor, I.A.M., Btec in CBT, DAS, and Advanced, NVQ Advanced Riding, BMF Blue Ribbon as well as Level 1 – 4 California Super Bike School. In addition to this, I have the nationally recognised teaching qualification PTLLS.
I also act as an outrider for NEG (National Escort Group) for professional cycling races, in addition to acting as a motorcycle pilot or the film industry.

The courses and the various exams I have done in the past doesn’t mean I am a fantastic rider or teacher. What they do mean is that I’m willing to learn and improve myself. I believe it also shows that I still have the drive and enthusiasm which I can pass on to other people.
